Position Overview
The Financial Reporting Team within Finance is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Internal Controls Analyst.
The Analyst, Internal Controls reports to the Associate Director, Internal Controls & Compliance. This position requires decision-making and judgement, technical accounting knowledge and strong relationship-building skills.
As part of the Internal Controls team, the Analyst is responsible for maintaining an effective internal control environment at the University, by working directly with Process Owners to identify and document financial risks, business processes and the key controls within these processes. The Analyst is also responsible for testing key controls to ensure controls are designed, implemented and operating effectively. The Analyst will work with Process Owners to address control design gaps and remediate deficiencies, and support senior team members in preparing reporting packages for senior management.
