Position Overview:

Our client is an established Canadian private equity firm with over $1B in AUM and substantive track record in alternative asset investment. Currently, they are seeking an Analyst to join their growing investor relations team focused on capital raising, new market/product opportunities, and ESG and sustainability initiatives. This role will be responsible for supporting the team across all investor relations and capital markets functions – including client servicing, fundraising and ESG and sustainability initiatives. The Analyst will interact with private clients and collaborate with multiple teams across the firm.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience gained in investor servicing, investor relations, or consulting. Exposure to private funds and the asset management industry is an asset. In addition, the candidate will be a thoughtful, outside the box thinker with superior communication and presentation skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Interface directly with investors and wealth advisors regarding periodic fund performance updates, requests for investor materials and general inquiries
• Support the quarterly investor reporting cycle including investor reports and third party database updates
• Liaise with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely preparation of materials for investor and diligence requests
• Support subscription process and onboarding of new investors
• Aid in the preparation of meeting materials and support marketing and brand activities including: preparation of external marketing documents, website updates, and preparation of newsletters, blogs and other external publications
• Input client calls and track market opportunities in salesforce
• Support ESG monitoring and policy activities
• Monitor media and industry for relevant articles, competitive information, etc to support ongoing client servicing and new product development and enhancements

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in one or more of the following areas: investor servicing, investor relations, or consulting
• Experience working with private funds and/or a deep knowledge of the asset management industry is required; knowledge of real estate, infrastructure and/or private equity preferred
• Self-motivated, proactive, well-organized and resourceful individual with a sophisticated level of attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of work product and adhering to stringent deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a clear ability to communicate complex with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Team player with positive attitude, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to multitask,
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
