Job Description Apply Now Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator will be responsible for all day-to-day accounts receivable activities and cultivating positive business relationships with our customers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Process & apply payments from customers to appropriate accounts
- Review AR aging report, and follow up for payments to ensure accounts remain current
- Respond to customer inquiries, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies on a timely basis
- Reconcile customer account balances; prepare and send customer statements
- Monitor delinquent accounts and communicate to the Customer Service team and Sales Representatives
- Reconcile online credit card transactions
- Support Director of Finance with month end closing, bank reconciliations, run aging reports and provide customer status updates
- Post general journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Provide backup support to the Accounts Payable team
- Assist with year-end audits, prepare ad hoc reports, and conduct special projects, as required
Qualifications
- Accounting or Business Diploma/Certificate or related experience
- Experience in an Accounting or Customer Service role is considered a bonus!
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work effectively and manage deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Nav/Business Central considered a bonus!
