As a Human Resourse Generalist you need to provide personnel policy and procedure, guidance to employees and management
to maintain up to date knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
assist department managers with recruitment, progressive descipline and terminations
coordinate all WSIB claims and participate in the Joint Health and Safety Commitee
track employee attendance and used vacations
create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies
Administer new employee on boarding
process complaints regarding workplace harrassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions
maintain personnel records
ideally have 2-3 yrs of human resources experience in a warehouse/distribution enviroment, must be a Certified Human Resource Professional ( CHRP ) or making progress towards obtaining certification
