ABOUT THE ROLE
TransAlta is currently looking to hire a motivated Senior Analyst in our Consolidated Reporting team. You will be part of a professional team whose main objective is to ensure timely and accurate preparation of TransAlta’s consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements. This pivotal position on the Consolidated Reporting team requires strong analytical and exceptional data handling skills along with a solid understanding of consolidations and cash flow reporting in a complex multi-entity, multi-currency system environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a detailed approach, a drive for personal accountability, and an ability to prioritize to meet deliverables. In addition, the candidate will demonstrate strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills to facilitate required changes in system requirements and processes associated with sustaining new business activities.
This is a terrific opportunity for someone who adapts readily to changing priorities and business conditions and has a passion for efficient production of accurate financial statements. This position offers growth opportunities within the Financial Reporting team and the broader Finance organization.
