We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Montreal. Someone who is service-oriented and who enjoys meeting challenges to surpass our customers’ expectations. The main responsibilities will be to issue, control and submit customers’ invoices while maintaining internal and external partners up to date.
What You Would Be Doing:
- Create, maintain, submit, and process billing reports to internal and external partners.
- Executes daily routine tasks (ex. work orders, back up documentation, invoicing, etc.) within relevant service level agreements.
- Document and update all customer records based on interactions in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain work order tracking logs to be used for internal audits.
- Provide excellent customer service with care, adequate problem-solving skills, and professionalism.
- Identify and implement improvements to Customer Experience processes.
- Assist the Accounts Receivable department to ensure all invoices are processed and remitted.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred in customer care, loyalty, and retention environments.
- Written and spoken English, French is an asset.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
To Be Set Up for Success:
- Completion of post-secondary education, ideally college degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong sense of personal accountability in driving for results.
- Strong computer skills, with proven technical ability in solving problems with both hardware and software.
- Knowledge of the shipping industry and of the container and reefers terminology.
- Ability to be creative problem solving, in anticipation of the unexpected and having solutions readily available.
