Recruitment Specialist

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources the Recruitment Specialist will be accountable for leading the core processes of recruitment for the organization. Acting as the lead recruiter, the successful incumbent will provide end to end talent acquisition services for internal clients supporting both hourly and salaried groups. This is a fascinating position which will play an integral role in contributing to company’s growth initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strategic mindset with a practical approach and must be ‘hands on’ in providing full cycle recruitment services to locations across North America.
What we offer:
Hourly Recruitment (Canada and USA):
General labor, maintenance roles, 310t and 421a mechanics, apprentice mechanics, machine operators, drivers, millwright, heavy equipment operators, scale operators and other roles in line with industrial/manufacturing industries.
Corporate Salaried Recruitment (Canada and USA):
HR, Finance, Customer Service, Trading, Sales, Logistics, Safety, Operations Management, Payroll, Legal, Risk Management, Real Estate, Information Technology and Treasury.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Participate as a member of the larger HR team in pursuing assigned HR accountabilities and projects, as well as relevant support in overall goals of the client groups;
Position Qualifications:
§ You are a builder, detailed and organized and you see research as a large part of the talent selection process;
§ Must be on a personal growth curve, inquisitive, excited about learning, with a passion for recruiting;
§ Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and technically savvy with exception project management skills;
§ Ability to establish credibility and trust as well as build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization;
§ Advanced skills at utilizing social media and online job board platforms such as LinkedIn and Workopolis to promote employment opportunities and raise the Company profile in the talent market;
§ Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, positive attitude, responsive, action and results oriented;
§ Proven independent initiative, highly organized and detail oriented;
