Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Territory Manager promotes and sells ESBE’s products and services, serve customers and build business by interacting with established customers and maintaining these relationships; identifying and developing new prospects; applying knowledge of ESBE’s services, products and marketing techniques; selling products; identifying and meeting customer needs and closing sales.
Some of the things you will do
Identify Business Opportunities
Assisting with life science oriented research
Service existing accounts, obtains orders and establishes new accounts
Sell products to our hospital client
Maintain positive relationships with our client
Resolve customer concerns
Investigate any problems; develop solutions; prepare reports and make recommendations to management.
Prepares reports; communicates to Internal company staff
Monitor our competition
Maintain sales territory records
Keep leadership Informed on matters related to clients
Maintain professional and technical knowledge

What you will need to be successful in this position
MLT designation or BSc degree (Life Sciences preferred)
Understanding of products, lab environment and the market served
Life Science or Laboratory experience
Some experience with sales, inside sales or customer service would be great but not required
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Drivers license with good driving record
Desire to travel within territory region and periodically to Ontario, Europe and the USA (post covid)
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
Attention to detail in written documents
Courteous and professional demeanor
Access to reliable High Speed Internet connection from a tier one Internet Service Provider and a home office with private room suitable for client phone calls
Fully vaccinated

Remote workers may be required to travel to client sites and the Head Office for training, meetings, etc. As such, team members must be vaccinated otherwise they present risk of spreading infections at ESBE.
Our customers (Federal, Provincial entities) have all required that ESBE attest to having fully vaccinated workers on staff.
