Human Resource Manager

SUMMARY OF MANAGING ROLE
Our Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and developing the Human Resources function to align with the company’s goals and objectives. This includes the development and implementation of the HR governing policies, strategic plan, leadership development, performance management programs, compensation and benefits programs, equity, diversity and inclusion programs, corporate skills training, employee and labour relations, and internal communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership for the Human Resource function at TYROD
- Developing and implementing the HR strategic plan and recruitment strategies that align with our goals and priorities
- Leading the implementation of HR projects with a continuous improvement mindset
- Implementing necessary actions for compliance with changing employment and labour laws
- Planning, designing, and rolling out compensation and benefits strategies
- Developing and implementing organizational HR policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance while promoting equity, diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement
- Providing advice on resolving employee and labour relations issues while maintaining positive working relationships
- Ensuring leadership development activities support performance management, career, and succession planning process
- Developing and implementing internal communication strategies and programs focused on employee engagement
- Developing and managing organizational training initiatives
- Developing and implementing a 2023 recruitment strategy, and execution to fill upcoming vacancies
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of working with peers and staff diplomatically and collaboratively, managing conflict situations, and handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- 2-3 years minimum of related work experience
- Excellent PC-based application skills such as MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong business and/or technical expertise in a related capacity
- Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor progress

Salary: $75,500.00-$89,000.00 per year
