Job Description

Diversified Ulbrich in Woodbridge, Vaughan ON, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Generalist.

This position will be responsible for various tasks within the Accounting department. A/R, A/P, receiving, providing general back up for department.

Qualifications

Back up for Accounting Department

Back up Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable email.

Receive invoices, match against supporting documents (purchase orders, receiving records, etc.), investigate and resolve any discrepancies, obtain appropriate approvals when needed and process invoices for payment.

Communicate with and respond to vendors concerning payables issues (i.e. payment status; disputes; etc.).

Reconcile vendor statements and address all past due items.

Ensure that invoices have been received and posted prior to month end closing.

Work with the finance team leads to ensure that the month-end close process is completed in a timely manner.

Prepare month end reports and reconcile subledgers to the ledger.

Liaise with purchasing department to ensure overseas purchase orders are up to date with correct pricing and quantities.

Maintain and enter material receipts into ERP system.

Backup other team members, as necessary.

Other duties as assigned.
