Universal Staffing Inc., in Moncton, NB is hiring a full time ASSISTANT FREIGHT DISPATCHER to join our national transportation team on the OVERNIGHT shift.
Shift is overnight Sunday to Thursday. 40 Hours.
The Assistant Dispatcher is responsible to assist with the management of freight transportation to support our customer’s logistics needs. At Universal Staffing, our Assistant Dispatchers are compensated with a competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package.
This is a FULL TIME ongoing position.
WAGE: From $18.00 to $22 per hour depending on experience. Overtime is paid after 44 hours in a week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Dispatcher with any dispatch related duties
- Operate a forklift if / when needed in the freight warehouse.;
Additional Skills
- Perform general office duties;
- Provide customer service;
Other Information
This position is an OVERNIGHT shift,
- 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM,
- SUNDAY TO THURSDAY.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Transportation experience/knowledge is a MUST;
- Must be able to operate a forklift when needed.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED, but college degree an asset
- Computer experience, preferably with Microsoft Excel/Word/PC Miler etc.
We offer a weekly payroll every Friday via direct deposit.
