Salary Range: $38.84 to $48.55 per hour (Commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN Compensation Policy).

About Cancer Digital Intelligence (CDI) : CDI is a research and innovation program that aims to accelerate the application of discoveries in cancer care through the fusion of human wisdom, data and technology. We do this through advancing our strategic aims in care innovation, business intelligence and discovery integration.
About Clinical Strategy and Innovation: The Clinical Strategy and Innovation team aims to facilitate grass root innovation in care delivery. We work to improve the quality of care today while facilitating the design, evaluation and implementation of new models of care that are responsive to the needs of patients and providers.
We are seeking aEvaluation Research Leadto join as an integral member of both teams.This position requires an action-oriented individual with advanced evaluation and implementation science knowledge and skills, strong organizational experience, superior time management capabilities, demonstrated problem solving capacity, and advanced writing and communication skills. The ideal candidate possesses the aptitude to work with individuals from program departments as well as external stakeholders to achieve research and clinical objectives. They maintain an eye for detail and the ability to initiate the follow up on items or determine appropriate steps for timely resolution.

RESPONSIBILTIES
Ensure the successful evaluation and implementation of care innovation, including use of digital tools to enhance care and integration of new models of care.
Support the development of data visualization tools to capture organizational performance metrics.
Conduct needs assessments, develop project plans, and contribute to designing evaluation and implementation science methodology.
Work with implementation specialists and project analysts to enable the spread and scale of innovation.
Support the evidence-informed integration and alignment of cancer centre-wide priorities as they relate to the delivery of high quality, efficient and integrated care.
Enable change management and knowledge translation activities.
Participate partially or fully in protocol development/project design and setting of research goals.
Plan, implement and coordinate all aspects of data collection and synthesis.
Utilize study findings in the development and writing of grant proposals. Prepare budgets for grant applications.
Allocate, monitor and track grant funding expenses.
Assist in interpretation of results and preparation of material for presentation, publication, and/or grants.
Critically appraise manuscripts and proposals of investigator.
Assess literature in the field of study and provide consultation on evaluation design.
Mentor and functionally supervise research students, when applicable.
Perform project and study related administrative tasks, where applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At minimum, a completion of Master’ degree in health services research, program evaluation, implementation science or recognized equivalent.
5-7 years experience in research, project management and implementation. Oncology and digital health experience is an asset.
Experience with applying program evaluation, implementation, quality improvement, change management tools, and related theoretical frameworks into study design.
Broad understanding of the healthcare system and digital health landscape, including issues and trends, standards of practice, ethics, policies, and legislation.
Proven skills in data management. Knowledge of preparing grant budgets an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization and prioritization skills, computer proficiency, ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks while adhering to timelines.
Ability to work well both as a member of a team and independently.
