THE ROLE
Reporting to the Associate Director – Corporate Finance, this role is critical in developing end to end high quality Pension Finance processes in Corporate Finance working closely with the Pension Services team. This role supports the accounting, controls, and reporting of all the benefits plans within UPP maintaining UPP’s financial data and compliance to ensure accurate transactions and processing are consistent with our company processes and internal controls and pension practices are in line with best practices and comply with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Pension Finance Manager will have responsibility for setting up end to end recording, control and monitoring processes that include the following but not limited to:
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must demonstrate solid project-management and problem-solving skills, and work effectively to resolve issues, and handle numerous operational tasks and projects concurrently, with minimal supervision. They will have demonstrated success in his or her role and be accustomed to working in a high energy, hands-on, and dynamic organization.
EDUCATION:
University degree, preferably in business administration or finance/accounting and CPA designation.
