Uxbridge Ford Looking for Sales Consultant at Uxbridge, ON Full Time

Uxbridge Ford is currently seeking a motivated customer service professional to join their team as a professional Sales Consultant

The primary duties will be to guide and assist customers with their vehicle purchases while building relationships.

Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to):

· Selling and leasing new vehicles under OMVIC rules and regulations.

· Providing an exceptional and transparent experience for our in-person, phone and online customers.

· Building relationships with customers to establish a repeat customer client base.

· Effective and prompt handling of internet leads through strong, clear and consistent communication.

· Utilizing dealership supplied technologies and email to adhere to and maximize a proven sales process.

· Assisting and educating customers on the features and benefits of Ford vehicles

· Providing customer quotes and assisting them through consistent communication through the sales process.

· Keep customers updated by phone as to the progress of their vehicle’s delivery and pick-up.

· Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

· Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.

· Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.

· Deliver vehicle to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork.

· Other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred and Required Skills/Experience:

· Prior experience in customer service; retail and hospitality experience preferred.

· Very strong communicator with exceptional email, technology and computer skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft products.

· Prior OMVIC License an asset, but not required (will be required prior to starting though).

· Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.

· Independent and motivated self-starter.

· Problem solving skills to resolve customer issues.

· Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.

· Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers visiting our location. Automotive sales experience is considered an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidates.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
