Skilled Painters Wanted
Are you frustrated with having your hourly rate capped? Annoyed that your coworkers make the same $$ as you but don’t work as hard? If you said yes then we are the perfect company for you. We give team members the opportunity to complete work at piece work rates, which affords them the ability to earn much more than an hourly rate.
Starting rate for an experienced painter: $25 hourly (based on skill level) with plenty of opportunity for increases. Painters who demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a solid work ethic can earn even more with Piece Work rate options.
What we want in a skilled painter:
- Strong trim-prep and clean caulking skills, ability to properly fill nail holes
- Ability to brush/roll trim with a clean, smooth spray-like finish
- Excellent wall prep skills for topcoat
- Able to produce clean cutlines and a smooth rolled surface
- Legally allowed to work in Canada
What you need as an employee:
- A working and reliable smartphone
- Basic Hand Tools
- Visibility vest
- Safety footwear
- Proper PPE
While it is not required for you to have a vehicle to work for us, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation will make your commute to and from job sites much easier. We don’t have a standard work schedule, but you would be expected to work a full 8-hour day, Monday – Friday. The construction industry is always changing, and so is our work schedule, some projects could require weekends and overtime, and while not mandated, these extra hours are a great way to up your skill level and your income.
