Van der Graaf Looking for Product Educator at Brampton, ON Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Educator.

The incumbent will act as a liaison between the company sales team and end-users, providing information, product demonstration and presentations together with tradeshow and roadshow planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
• Proficient in Microsoft office, CRM and other internet applications
• Must be mechanically inclined with demonstrated ability to understand basic engineering concepts
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends, and after hours as business needs dictate
• Ability to travel through US/Canada up to 80%, including overnight
• A problem solver who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain a positive, professional, and friendly personality

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Conduct and manage company and product presentations at Tradeshows and Roadshows.
• Organize and arrange show services for trade shows in Canada and the US while promoting VDG products including but not limited to hands on product demonstration across all industries.
• Utilize in-house research as well as independent research to target candidates and build relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the industry.
• Retain comprehensive product knowledge to share with end-users.
• Attend trade shows, networking events and market the VDG brand name
• Trade Show Event and Road Show planning and execution.
• Manage and Coordinate installation team at tradeshows.
• Organize pre-show and post-show meetings with required team members
