VanWest College invites applicants who are available and interested in teaching within our career training business programs at the Vancouver campus. Our academic terms run every 8 weeks. Classes are delivered in 3-3.5 hour blocks (Monday-Friday) from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Each course requires 56 hours of in-class, Instructor-led delivery per term. The total contract amount payable for each course is $1680-1920, plus taxes if applicable.

BUS108 Sales Strategies (requires 2 years management experience and a certificate/degree)
BUS109 Workplace Preparation (2 yrs resume building and interview prep experience required + educational certificate or degree)
BUS110 Business Language Skills (requires ESL qualified teacher)
BUS114 Introduction to Accounting (requires one of ACCA, CFP, CMA, CPA, CGMA certifications or designations and 2 years experience as an accountant)
BUS115 Social Media Marketing (requires 2 years experience and a certificate/degree)
BUS116 Project Management (requires current PMP certificate and two years experience)
BUS117 Leadership Skills (requires 2 years experience and a certificate/degree/MBA)
BUS118 Finance (requires 2 years experience in Finance and a certificate/degree/MBA)
BUS119 Sales Management (requires 2 years experience and a certificate/degree/MBA)
BUS120 E-Commerce (requires 2 years of experience and a certificate/degree/MBA)
BUS121 Market Research (requires 2 years Market Research experience and a certificate/degree/MBA)

Education, Experience & Required Skills:
Relevant industry experience of two years minimum.
Undergraduate degree in business or other relevant disciplines OR relevant industry experience of ten years.
Excellent communication skills in fluent English (written, verbal).
Proficient organizational skills.
Able to work independently and in a multi-cultural collaborative team setting.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Teaching experience is not required.
We cannot hire experienced teachers without industry experience of at least 2 years.
