Property management is hard, particularly large-scale property management. When it comes to balancing working with vendors, managing contracts, taking bids for work, scoping and scheduling the work, and ensuring the property is kept in tip-top shape, it often takes multiple people in full-time roles. Surprisingly, this industry has yet to evolve from utilizing outdated and inefficient methods such as e-mail, spreadsheets, and pen-and-paper. If you’ve ever worked in an office building or lived in an apartment high rise that had janky elevators, wasn’t quite the cleanest, or didn’t quite seem like it was on top of general maintenance, they probably needed VendorPM’s help.
VendorPM is the first software-enabled marketplace in Canada that helps owners, property managers better work with vendors and streamlines their processes through the RFQ and RFP process. This is a$400B+ market that we aim to make a difference in, hence why we have raised three rounds of funding

The Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who can develop and maintain, from the ground up, our initial QA offering with a focus on automation. You know how to develop and maintain test plans throughout the life cycle of the software.
What You Will Do
Develop a starting QA workflow.
Develop and maintain robust test plans for both front and backend systems for functional and performance testing.
Lead automated testing efforts for specific areas of functionality.
Integrate test plans with existing developer workflows.
Collaborate in establishing QA methodologies and contribute creative ideas to improve test effectiveness.
Provide technical leadership, manage, or participate in any additional projects, assignments, or initiatives assigned by management.
You’re the Missing Piece of the Puzzle
Minimum of 3+ years of related technical testing experience in Quality Assurance / Quality/ Control.
Solid understanding of development lifecycle and QA methodologies and principles.
Strong background in test automation and automated testing tools (Rest Assured).
TestRail or other test plan software experience
Experienced with API automation and UI automation – Selenium or otherwise.
Familiarity with *nix terminals and processes.
Excellent technical communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams.
Bonus If You Have
Experience with Github Actions or other CI automation software.
