Verder Scientific, headquartered in Germany, is a fast-growing global technology company that designs, manufactures, and sells Lab Equipment throughout the world. We are a passionate team of innovators dedicated to produce equipment that enables our customers to improve safety of pharmaceutical, food and industrial products as well as conduct research in the environmental and material sciences.
We are searching for an IT Coordinator for our Operations in the US. Locations include the Verder Scientific US Sales and distribution center in Newtown, PA and the Microtrac Manufacturing facility in York, PA. This position will be based out of the York, PA facility and report to the IT Director in Germany.
DOING WHAT IS FUN
- Local IT Management
- Coordination of external IT-service company (Zog)
- Tracking tickets and turnaround on resolution of IT issues
- Quick support for external IT-service solving small onsite problems
- Project Management of IT projects
- Liaison with IT Shared Service Center (Netherlands) and Director IT (Germany)
Responsibilities also include supporting our central ERP Project team and our local ERP partner in the introduction of our global ERP software Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations and CE. This position will drive the implementation of the project, test business processes and interfaces to other systems, train the users in the new software systems, and be responsible for ERP-1st level support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science
- Experience with Project Management
- Experience with Business Software Systems
- Experience with Office Tools and Cloud/MS Azure
- Good communication skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Structured way of working
- The ability to travel to the Newtown, PA facility as needed
- Experience with PowerApps/Logic Apps (would be an asset)
- Experience with MS Dynamics CE/CRM (would be an asset)
- Must have valid work permit for the US
