We’re looking for a phenomenal Campaign Manager to support our sales efforts and help us provide outstanding service to our clients. You will be responsible for:
Working closely with the salesperson to take ownership of our clients and their ad campaigns to ensure success
Working directly with the client to gather all necessary assets
Ad operations tasks to ensure that campaigns are implemented correctly and on time
Optimize campaigns to ensure success
Developing campaign tracking and analysis, work with Sales on account strategy and scheduling
You will rapidly acquire a thorough understanding of VerticalScope’s digital advertising offerings, systems, processes and departments. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of millions of dollars in revenue, and will gain valuable experience that will position you for future success in ad operations or sales. Essential Job Functions
Manage the day-to-day delivery of all direct sold campaigns, ensuring campaigns deliver in full
Traffic and manage multiple advertising campaigns across various verticals
Provide technical support to help troubleshoot any issues that arise at any point during the adverting life cycle and serve as the conduit to the technology team for escalations
Act as the main point of contact for clients, sales, and internal departments regarding various campaigns
Working closely with the salesperson to launch and manage the lifecycle of campaigns
Working with clients to gather advertising assets
QA and Troubleshoot all campaigns as they go live and investigate possible solutions when errors arise
Providing timely responses, thorough work, and proactive thinking
Address client inquiries professionally and in a timely manner
Maintain up-to-date understanding of site ad functionality, including knowledge of all ad products available; general availability; and performance of each unit.
Meeting client KPI goals and contracts, which includes changing and augmenting campaigns to meet contractual commitments
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual revenue forecasts)
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within their territory
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Liaise with various internal departments (i.e. Creative, Marketing, Content) to ensure successful campaign distribution
Managing account performance, analyzing campaign successes, and providing regular internal campaign status reports
Track performance in clients’ third-party ad servers when applicable
Analyze and prepare post campaign reports/decks for clients
Non-Essential Job Functions
Act as a backfill for other team members when they are on vacation, sick or on leave
Help out with pre-sale reporting for sales reps in cases of potential customers with short deadline/urgent need for data
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Previous experience in online ad campaign management a must, preferably at a digital publisher or media agency
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with other online ad media and sales tools such as Salesforce.com, GAM, Google Analytics, etc. an asset
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and can work in fast paced environments
Customer service mentality, with excellent relationship management and conflict resolution skills
Outstanding business communication, writing, phone skills. Articulate and tactful.
Able to work within a team environment and cross-functionally, yet autonomously
An excellent problem solver, and can think outside of the box
Intellectually curious, enthusiastic, cooperative
Self-motivated
