IT Specialist
The IT Specialist will oversee and maintain all aspects of VINN’s computer infrastructure including maintaining networks, security programs, and systems. This role will manage upgrades and installation of new hardware and software, perform troubleshooting, assess security threats, backup and restore data if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all company hardware
- Supporting team success through hardware/software infrastructure needs
- Maintain network infrastructure
- Implement and improve on company security
- Maintain, improve and deploy MDM on company devices
What we look for in an IT Specialist:
- At least 3 years experience working on mid-size company hardware and software
- Previous experience implementing security standards within a company setting
- A strong understanding of CIS-18 or equivalent standards
- Strong familiarity with MacOS and iOS
- Experience building and maintaining an MDM solution (Jamf, Kandji or other)
Bonus:
- Familiar with Google Software (Workspace + Endpoint management)
- Knowledge of PIPEDA, CCPA and other privacy acts
- Experience with SOC 2 compliance
