Virtual Pros Looking for Supply Chain Manager at Canada Full Time

We are seeking to hire a full-time Supply Chain Manager on behalf of our client HigherDOSE, a women-led at-home wellness tech company. Their mission is to empower people to prioritize preventative care through innovative at-home biohacking tools. Who We Are Looking For:

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and quality of our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain process, from fulfillment, demand planning, inventory management, and logistics. Additionally, you will lead efforts to maintain and improve the quality standards of our products and processes. This is a remote role reporting into the Chief Operating Officer of the company. Occasional traveling will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all aspects of supply chain, fulfillment, and warehouse management
• Manage project portfolio across all fulfillment functions to meet departmental priorities and commitments to the broader organization
• Partner with 3 PL warehouses to build, plan, and execute the fulfillment roadmap, including strategic initiatives and programs.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory management best practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Implement quality control measures to monitor product and service quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Investigate customer complaints or quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
• Support the wholesale and retail partner’s fulfillment needs ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time after following the guidelines and SOPs.
• Establish and maintain quality standards, implement quality control measures, and investigate quality issues, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with manufacturers and vendors to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality throughout the supply chain.
• Develop measurable frameworks by building KPIs, dashboards, ad-hoc reports to support performance expectations and define key metrics and share with the team.
• Assist COO with inventory management, vendor relationships, and lead times
• Work with the CFO on accounting related activities like invoices, inventory receiving, and PO matching.

Preferred Skills, Qualities and Qualifications: 

• Desire to work in a startup environment and wear many hats with a “do whatever it takes” attitude.
• 3+ years of experience in logistical, warehouse and fulfillment management.
• Strong communication skills and exhibiting influence, especially working with 3rd party vendors and partners.
• Strong business, leadership, planning and organizing skills; including the ability to provide innovative, strategic ideas to management, communicate value, gain approval, and implement effectively.
• Proven experience in supply chain management and quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Expert at critical thinking, logical structuring, financial analysis/modeling, business case development.
• Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus.
• Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets.
