Responsibilities:
As a Junior Foreman, you will work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to oversee and manage various construction projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
– Assisting in the planning and coordination of construction activities
– Supervising and directing a team of construction workers
– Ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards
– Implementing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
– Monitoring progress and resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process
– Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project
– Conducting regular inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of work
– Assisting in the preparation of project documentation and reports
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
– Relevant experience in the civil construction industry, preferably in an assistant or junior supervisory role
– Excellent knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
– Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
– Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency in using construction software and tools
