Junior Systems and Network Administrator

Purpose:
The Junior Network and Systems Administrator will successfully provide day to day support on desktop computers, laptop computers, printers, and monitors. They will also provide end-user software troubleshooting and support, as well as supporting the network and servers.
Support Vitrum in being the “fabricator of choice”. Identify opportunities and implement improvements to create the foundation to support 10% to 15% growth per year. Deliver exceptional products by leveraging the use of automation in our processes. Bring energy and passion to every interaction to ensure your team and our clients are receiving exceptional service. Clearly communicate our standards and what is expected to be a successful member of our team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Successfully provide day to day support & troubleshooting:
- Ensure the day to day network and desktop integrations are well defined. Tickets are addressed within 30 minutes to 1 hour of being received.
- Ensure the appropriate solutions are applied to the particular incident within 4 hours.
- Report up immediately any issues or concerns that are not able to be solved with your direct manager.
- Complete end user configurations and software deployment of new users (emails, teams, office, etc.) to 100% accuracy.
- Ensure 100% tracking of IT assets – laptops, cell phones, etc.
- Learn the installation and configuration of the ERP system for the end user within the first three months of hire.

Experience:
- Experience in active directory infrastructure.
- Experience in DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- A+ Certification or a diploma in Information Technology, CompTIA Network Plus
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a related field
- CCNA Certification is considered an asset
- Manufacturing experience exposure is considered an asset
- Have a valid Driver’s license
