Title of Position: Residential Construction Manager
Terms of employment: Full time; Permanent Position; 30 hours per week (morning, day, evening, and sometimes weekend).
Wage: $47.60/hour
Duties:
Work with designers and homeowners throughout the build;
Maintain, update and schedule contractors to ensure timely completion of project;
Perform quality control check on-site to ensure highest quality work performed;
Ensure contractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work;
Communicate any conflicts or revisions associated with the project;
Schedule permit inspections with City officials;
Identify issues and communicate them with contractors for resolution;
Perform management duties at multiple job sites;
Ensure contractors have corrected all deficiencies identified;
Attend job sites to monitor progress, accuracy, cleanliness and safety; and
Record job progress and completion list.
Language: English
Level of Education: High School
Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant work experience.
Location of work: Various locations throughout Calgary and surrounding area.
