Western Logistics is a specialized transportation and warehousing operation servicing the office and contract furniture industry. With several terminals across Canada and the US.
We are currently looking for Dispatcher Regional / Load-planner to start immediately with an excellent pay package, working conditions & benefits.

Shifts: Full Time – Monday to Friday between 5 AM to 3:30 PM

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating efficient dispatch for a terminal fleet of approximately 10 trucks.
Plan all regional runs in system and assigning shipments to trips
Ensure specific delivery appointments are scheduled properly
Utilize system planning software to optimize driver trips efficiently
Configure customer profiles to reflect operating hours, restrictions, etc
Optimizing of all dispatch trips with load offers to driver through on board ELD device
Communicate with the operations staff the load plans and manifests via Google drive
Communicate instructions for the loads with drivers and assist with driver inquiries
Schedule all daily pick-ups as required
Schedule equipment for service as required
Support data entry of orders as required
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive environment.
Attention to detail.
Must be computer literate with excel/word and email experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
TMW Truckmate experience is preferred, but we will train.
Knowledge of Montreal and surrounding area
Self-starters that can work on their own and in a team environment.
Proactive and positive approach with drivers, customers, etc.
Driving /logistics experience or background preferred
Positive can do attitude and the aptitude to back that up.
