We are currently seeking an energetic, proactive, detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced non-union environment. We’re looking for a Financial Accountant, who will bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of financial statements and associated control reports and reconciliations.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Prepare month end financial and operational reporting packages for financial and management reporting
• Perform required month end reconciliations and prepare corresponding documentation for approval and processing.
• Assist with preparation of full cycle accounting records for existing entities including but not limited to revenue (billing), accounts receivable, expenses and accounts payable.
• Perform other daily and weekly financial and reporting requirements as needed.
• Ensure positive continuous improvement to the accounting and reporting function and associated processes.
• Identify and define new process improvement opportunities, including implementing Robotics Process Assistance (RPA)
• Other duties and projects as needed

Functional Skills

• Strong computer skills in all office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and commercial accounting packages
• CPA designation in progress or achieved
