Windsor Career College is seeking a Student Services Coordinator for its Windsor Campus. The college offers a wide range of Health Care, Business and Technology programs, is a value-based organization that believes in high quality education, student satisfaction, and industry-relevant facilities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Student Services Coordinator and the ideal candidate will have previous experience with adult students in a similar role and be passionate about helping mature students achieve their goals.
Duties include:
- Provide assistance and guidance to students and clients on an as-needed and ongoing basis
- Providing assistance to Administration Team members
- Coordinating with President & CEO on all matters regarding student success
- Coordinating and assisting in student practicum arrangements (submitting placement agreements and following up on student progress, and procuring practicum evaluations from placement facilities)
- Tracking student attendance and academic performance/progress on a weekly basis
- Communicating issues to students in academic jeopardy and working to resolve issues
- Entering student marks on AMP CMS system on a weekly basis
- Tracking student attendance monthly
- Full responsibility of completing student files on a timely basis
- Updating AMP/CMS system on student information
- Exit Interviews to be conducted in a professional manner
- Assist all Graduates through Employment Placement Program. Ie assisting with Resume/Cover letter, assisting students with creating profiles on Indeed, Workopolis and other job sites, reaching out to potential employers and creating a resourceful database
- Coordinating with instructors daily with assistance on any help required for smoother online class experience
- Proctoring NACC Exams as and when required
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Business or Administration
- Private Career College experience considered an asset but not mandatory
- Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple job demands, problem solve and troubleshoot with minimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and students
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Office Administration (required)
Experience:
- adult education: 2 years (preferred)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

All our program are currently running online. The online delivery of the program will expire following notification by Local Healthcare Officials, that there is not continuing risk to students and staff of contracting COVID-19 by attending the college.

- Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
