Windsor Mold Group Looking for Human Resources Assistant at Amherstburg, ON Full Time

We currently have an opening at our Precision Plastics facility in Amherstburg, ON for a Human Resources Assistant. This position reports to the HR Generalist and is responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical and human resources task requiring thorough knowledge of office procedure and HR Policies.

• Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.
• Processes new hires and terminations and assists in other employment activities.
• Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
• Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
• Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration.
• Plans employee functions to boost morale.
• Acts as an ambassador to the Windsor Mold Group and assists in promoting the desired culture.
• Act as back-up receptionist as required.
• Other duties or tasks as assigned or required.

Education/Requirements:

• University Degree or College Diploma in Business or related discipline.
• 2 year (or higher) technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• JHSC Level 1 & 2 designation is considered an asset.
