Our client is a US-based company with a small facility in Mississauga near Kennedy & CourtneyPark to service their Canadian customers. They are currently hiring for a Warehouse Specialist/Customer Service individual to join their team.
This is a temporary to permanent role.
Shift: Monday to Friday 9AM – 5PM
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- Have at least 2 years working experience in a warehouse environment
- Have strong planning and organizing skills.
- Have intermediate computer skills (proficient in MS Excel & Outlook)
- Experience with or willingness to learn SAP Business One
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (written & verbally)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse:
- Perform warehouse work related to shipment, storage, and distribution of products, parts, and materials.
- Verifies quantity, quality, and labeling of merchandise according to the sales order documents.
- Prepares merchandise for shipment via UPS, FedEx, truck lines, or other means of shipment with minimal supervision.
- Palletize larger orders using a hand truck, pallet jack.
- Attach and verify all shipping labels and place in designated pick-up area.
- Assist in assembly of specification orders.
- Assist in keeping warehouse locations clean and organized.
- Assist in unloading overseas containers and truck shipments of merchandise.
- Label all inventory and non-inventory items with proper part numbers when necessary under minimal supervision

- Contacting vendors
- Data Entry
- Working closely with US offices
