Warrior Kids Mental Health Program Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The Warrior Kids Program was created in 2019 to support children and youth with a parent who is either a first responder, military or veteran member impacted by a psychological injury such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Founders and directors, Dr Helena Hawryluk and Jerris Popik are looking for a positive and energetic individual to assist in supporting this unique national mental health program. This is a perfect opportunity for students in post-secondary education looking to gain experience in running mental health services across Canada to first responder and veteran families. This position is remote work from home with a requirement to be able to work some weekends and evenings. Also require a valid driver’s licence and access to a car in order to maintain office supplies, program supplies and attend Warrior Kids awareness events and camps throughout the year. Work hours are flexible but must be available regularly throughout Monday-Friday 9-4pm – between 10-15 hours per week. This position reports directly to Warrior Kids Program Director, Jerris Popik and responsive to both Dr Helena

Qualification and Skills
Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom platforms and excellent written communication skills.
Compensation
This is an hourly position with a minimum of 10 hours per week. Hourly rate starts at $20.00 per hour. Gas mileage will be covered for completing special events and inventory purchases.
