What we are looking for
We are looking for a Technical Recruiter with strong sourcing and hunting skills to build talent pools and candidate pipelines and conduct screens and interviews for our Engineering, Design and Data teams. You will own and execute the sourcing strategy and work closely with the People & Culture and Management teams to bring stellar technology candidates into the recruitment process while maintaining relationships with passive candidates and keeping our candidate pool warm. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. You will be hiring for roles from junior developers to senior leaders in the technology consulting space.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for building and driving sourcing strategy for Software Engineers, Architects, Data/ML Engineers, and other technical roles
Actively source qualified candidates using internet databases, user groups or blogs, social media and other creative techniques to find qualified candidates
Conduct preliminary interviews with technical candidates to access skill-set and cultural fit while providing an exceptional candidate experience
Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS): manage job postings, open position information, close positions, candidate records, etc.
Provide candidates with pre- and post-interview follow up communications for roles that you are managing
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management in support of current and future hiring needs
Assist with key recruiting initiatives from diversity and inclusion, employee branding and other
Attend virtual recruitment events
Manage an effective employee referral program
Build and maintain strong relationships with the Xerris hiring managers to understand their teams, required skillsets, upcoming projects, and priorities
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience sourcing technical talent in an agency or corporate setting (agency experience is preferred)
Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, boolean strings and other sourcing methods
Exceptional communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills in a remote setting
Strong research skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
A keen interest in the tech industry, and savvy enough to “talk shop” with technology talent
Tact, discretion, and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information
Savvy negotiator
Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision in an extremely fast-paced environment
