Rate of Pay- $47.54 per hour

Session 1: June 29 – July 21, 2022
Session 2: July 6 – July 27, 2022
Session 3: July 13 – Aug 5, 2022
Staff D2L Training Sessions:
June 1, 2022
3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
June 8, 2022
3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
June 15, 2022
3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Teachers are responsible for delivering a total of 110 hours of instruction. Learning will be facilitated synchronously through online classroom sessions and Desire to Learn:
Teachers are expected to deliver curriculum asynchronously via D2L
Teachers are expected to attend all training sessions
Teachers are expected to attend weekly staff meetings/PD opportunities via Google Meet
Teachers will be online in a google meet daily for up to 3 hours as needed to provide students with the opportunity to drop in for additional support, instruction, tutorial or to ask questions
Teachers should be available to respond in a timely fashion to student emails daily between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm
Applicants will be assigned only 1 session of elearn
Required Qualifications/Experience:
Intermediate/Senior Qualifications
Religious Education, Part 1 (or equivalent)
Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Applicable qualifications as per staffing guidelines
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
Knowledge and experience using Desire2Learn
Knowledge and experience using G-Suite
Previous experience in Continuing Education programs
Previous experience with e-Learn Courses
Previous teaching experience in subject area
