The Corporate Services Division of Highways and Public Works provides critical central agency services to government and direct services to the department itself. We provide risk management, procurement, surplus asset disposal, mail delivery, insurance, travel and fleet vehicle services to Yukon government departments. We also provide policy, communications, and finance services to the Department of Highways and Public Works. Our division employs analysts, procurement specialists, fleet, travel and mail service specialists, accountants and many other professionals.
The Fleet Vehicle Agency (FVA) is a special operating agency of the Department of Highways and Public Works. Its mission is to help government departments and publically funded agencies meet their objectives by procuring and managing efficient and affordable ground transportation services. This position is primarily responsible to provide financial management services for the Fleet Vehicle Agency, including coordinating and monitoring all financial transactions for the Agency, as well as providing ongoing detailed financial planning and reporting. The incumbent ensures the effective and efficient processing of accounts payable and receivable functions on behalf of the agency, and develops monthly financial reports and statements for management decision-making.

Essential Qualifications (what we’re looking for in your resume):
Post-secondary coursework in accounting or related field;
Experience providing client service;
Experience with financial processes;
Experience using MS Office and computerized financial systems.

Ability to research financial information and provide analysis to managers for decision-making;
