The Role:
With our Vancouver office growing, we are looking to bring onboard an engaging and passionate Talent Acquisition/Recruitment specialist to join our team! This person is responsible for developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, as well as full-cycle recruitment for open positions throughout North America. The right candidate will:
· Build a recruitment program and implementing attraction strategies.
· Work with the hiring managers to manage their staffing requirements
· Drive various recruitment projects and initiatives including new ways to source candidates
· Manage recruiting databases and other systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting
· Develop and maintain a continually stocked pipeline of quality talent
· Understand and research labor market data to be on top of compensation changes, benefits, and perks
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinating and conducting new employee orientations
- Maintaining and updating employee files and records
- Assisting with the administration of benefits and compensation programs
- Handling employee relations issues and providing guidance to employees and managers
- Coordinating and scheduling employee training and development programs
- Assisting with the administration of performance evaluations
- Keeping abreast of current HR laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
- Familiarity with remote work tools and platforms
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong web, research, analysis, and computer tech-savvy skills
- Solid English communication skills both written and verbal, professional demeanor and appearance, interpersonal skills and integrity
- Friendly, approachable, confident, reliable, punctual, and outgoing person
The Position:
- Full-Time, Contract, combination of in-person and remote
