This role will focus on Data Quality related process improvement projects and programs starting with the Metadata change of status project and extending into other areas as defined by the business. Working with cross-functional stakeholders (Ops, Product, Client Services, IT etc.), the role will support data focused initiatives across Numeris to ensure that new products and large-scale process improvements are ready for successful implementation. The role will also have an opportunity to lead smaller process improvement initiatives, identify future improvement opportunities, and recommend data-driven changes. This role encompasses conducting assessments and analysis of the current state of operational processes, as well as proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders and Operations leadership to define new processes and implement changes.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Operations teams, vendors, IT, PMO, Product and other Numeris departments to document end-to-end business processes, gather pain points, document business requirements (user stories) in JIRA for implementation of new projects.
Leads Business test scenario writing and coordinates business testing of new tools/upgrades working with the Operations, IT, Product teams, and other stakeholders as necessary.
Tracks business team’s progress against test plans and communicates to manager and IT on progress against those plans during all test phases as well as results of any testing.
Lead Change activities on assigned projects – act as a Change agent to train business users and measure post-implement success against project KPIs.
Produce/modify/provide input to necessary documents for specifications, testing, training and implementation of new products/new initiatives in alignment with existing documenting and testing practices. This includes writing technical documents (SOPs, WIs, training materials, etc.), training plans as well as others.
Acts as a coordinator / liaison with respect to operations and its knowledge base, communicating effectively within and outside the organization with clients and internal stakeholders.
Investigates issues, addresses concerns, provides insights and influences outcomes for the good of operations and the larger organization.
Lead analysis and implementation of smaller scale process initiatives on time and on budget using process improvement, project and change skills. Build solutions in JIRA for smaller initiatives.
Key Skills
Undergraduate Degree or Higher/Equivalent
Certified Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
At least 5 years or more in a similar role
Strong process re-engineering experience on large and medium scale projects
Experience with Agile delivery framework, writing User Stories, and technology delivery is preferred.
Extensive JIRA experience is a must have.
Project lead/management and/or Scrum Master experience is strongly preferred.
Strong facilitation skills, especially in a virtual environment
Excellent communication skills to actively listen to departmental needs and communicate complex requirements to internal departments and across all levels of the organization
Strong analysis skills to break complex issues into smaller parts to understand the whole
Change management experience is preferred
Proficiency in Visio, Excel, WORD, Powerpoint is strongly preferred. Experience with Confluence is an asset
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Agile delivery and best practices and asset
Experience working with Data (data governance, BI reporting) is an asset
Self-starter, enthusiastic, curious
