Description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will be a key member of the Finance organization and will assist management in analyzing the financial performance of the business, maintaining monthly reports, tracking budgetary goals, and other analysis requested by management. It is also expected that you adopt and maintain company-level reporting for revenue and/or expenses.
The candidate must be eager to learn and be able to thrive in a rapidly changing, emerging growth company. The candidate should be detail-oriented, highly analytical, have strong organization and communication skills, and be hands-on. This full-time role will interface daily with internal departments, upper management and work closely with the accounting department.
Essential Job Functions
Assist management with updates to the financial forecast in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist with preparation of monthly/annual financial reports and analysis.
Analyze variances to plan and provide recommendations to strengthen forecast accuracy.
Ensures all budgeted expenses are adequately documented and supported, properly calendarized and in line with the company’s overall strategic plans.
Works with department heads to ensure budgeted goals are met; support budget revisions and ensures communication to department heads.
Identifies and communicates issues affecting the Company’s operations.
Works with FP&A manager to create actionable, ongoing reports.
Maintain models that provide information on the Company’s current operating trends.
Assist in ad hoc analysis and special projects as required by Management and cross-functional teams
Recommends improvements and develops strategies to improve overall department effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
1-2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting.

Demonstrated analytical proficiency in data research and interpretation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
