Description:
Work independently to support achievement of the workforce strategies projects and project timelines. Responsible for: managing, researching, analyzing data/information, record complex meeting notes and track actions, interpret customer needs, identify solutions, address problems, respond to inquiries on behalf of the Executive Director, act on the Executive Director’s behalf, respond to workforce initiative questions and projects, deal with changing priorities/urgent issues. Provide executive level and complex support to the Executive Director by assessing client needs, answering inquiries and forwarding to the appropriate professional for resolution. Understand portfolio issues to assist in the development of administrative processes. Administer the Executive Director’s calendar, create an effective file management system, develop effective working relationships with other executives and collaborate across the AHS to accomplish key accountabilities. Ensure sensitive and confidential issues are handled appropriately in consultation with the Executive Director.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related area. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources or workforce planning within a healthcare organization or organization of a significant size, complexity and diversity. A full understanding of the occupation groups and client departments supported. Project and change management experience. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Developed coaching skills, and ability to translate body of knowledge, methodologies, and processes for client’s quick understanding and use. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change. Experience in developing and delivering education and training is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPHR or other recognized designation. 5+ years’ experience in human resources or workforce planning. Previous experience in an organization of similar size and complexity. Project and change management experience. Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
