Job description:
Your responsibilities :
* Analyze general ledger accounts (among others, intercompany) and prepare worksheets for tax purposes.
* Assist in the preparation of tax returns for Canadian corporations;
* Compile the information required for Canadian and American declarations;
* Assist in the preparation of quarterly provisions, including accounting entries and continuity schedules.
* Participate in tax audits and prepare the required documentation;
* Prepare various tax analyses;
* Collaborate in the realization of special projects;
* Collaborate in any other related project.
* Work in collaboration with the corporate tax manager;
Profile description:
Your profile :
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any other training;
* Possess a CPA designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or in progress; An asset
* Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
* Strong analytical skills;
* Demonstrate resourcefulness, autonomy, thoroughness, initiative, and commitment;
* Excellent command of office tools such as Excel, Word and Power Point;
* Knowledge of software for filing tax returns and tax forms, such as Corporate Taxprep and Taxprep Forms an asset;
* Know how to properly manage priorities while respecting deadlines;
* Easy to work in a team and to communicate.
* Bilingual (French and English) both orally and in writing
* Mastery of the English language is essential since it occupies a good percentage of the communications made, both internally and externally (i.e. divisions in the United States, Ontario, Western Canada and in Europe) ;
