You will use your expertise to:

(You will be responsible for performing such duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time by your leader.)

• Preparing monthly divisional financial statements and analysis, ensuring the highest quality, reliability and accuracy.
• Prepare year end working papers and schedules for annual Financial Audit.
• Identifies opportunities to automate, streamline and further develop reporting processes.
• Accounting research, including the continued monitoring of new standards as applicable.
• Communicate financial metrics to Senior Management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives as they lead to your business unit.
• Take a leadership role to collaborate with Operations, Finance, Corporate Decision Support, and IT teams.
• Communicating, assisting and collaborating with internal and external clients in an effective and professional manner.
• Establish relationships and communicate effectively with people in a variety of departments.
• Engage with staff and management regularly to discuss status of activities and deadlines.

We would like to review your application if you have the following minimum qualifications:

• Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration/Commerce (Accounting or Finance) is required.
• Accounting Designation required (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA).
• Minimum 5 years of similar experience is a strong asset.
• Computer proficient with willingness to learn new software.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across all areas of an organization and at all levels.
• Results-oriented and be flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and can work effectively with senior management, clients, project team, and contractors.

Where you will be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

The base hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on the business needs.
