The Senior Finance Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and accounting functions using generally accepted accounting procedures in general accounting and/or accounts payable/receivable. This role compiles journal entries and accruals and ensures all revenue is entered for month end closing. The Senior Clerk will provide oversight and day-to-day responsibility for Accounts Receivable, WSIB and OHIP billing areas, processing invoices to a wide range of clients with various billing rates and complex guidelines for payment mandated by Provincial and Federal Government agencies for patient, sundry, Ministry of Health (MOH) diagnostic, WSIB and interprovincial reciprocal billings. This role is also responsible for productivity, revenue errors, efficiency reporting, collection activity including bad debt write-offs, revenue reversals and refunds.
