DIRECTOR – PRODUCT & BROKER EXPERIENCE – COMMERCIAL

This position is to lead commercial product and broker sales & service training programs to support continuous knowledge and growth within our sales teams. In Office, Remote, work from home, options available.

Reporting to the VP, Products & Broker Experience, this position is responsible for delivering consistent training programs that educate our employees on how to best place insurance products for an enhanced customer experience. All our employees have a direct influence on our brand in the communities they serve, through the excellent service and support they provide.

Accountabilities

• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders on the product & sales training strategy, develop and drive implementation
• Support with identifying core markets and guiding creation and implementation of training
• Partner with others to develop training delivery options, including self-guided tutorials, interactive e-learning, webinars, train-the-trainer programs, virtual/classroom and in-app guides
• Support integrating cross-channel processes continuous improvement to support sales execution and organizational strategy
• Provide insight and guidance on product development, targeting and segmentation strategies
• Develop robust product roadmaps for solutions in the product portfolio, highlighting intersections
• Identify and monitor KPIs, evaluating solution effectiveness
• Impact high-performance teams to support the execution of the business strategy, through employee development, coaching, and succession planning
• Effectively communicate Western’s strategic goals, Mission and Vision, leading Change Management processes to support transitions through change
• Facilitate feedback structures to encourage developing creative and innovative solutions to drive favourable business results

Specifics

• 7-10 years’ progressive insurance industry and general business experience
• CAIB or CIP designation preferred, minimum Level 2 required
• Experienced leader, with a proven track record of exceeding business goals and targets
