Your Opportunity:

The Chartered Surgical Facility (CSF) Education Consultant provides education, training, and mentorship to CSF external and AHS internal CSF operations team. The educator supports consistent data accuracy, report reliability and input management with attention to timelines and standards for data. The position is responsible to develop, coordinate and implement education programs to address contract changes and/or CSF application changes. Business analysis and operations efficiency/ recommendations May lead and advise other team members to solve complex data or involve problems. Supports business analysis and identifies options for process change supporting efficient and safe patient care. Act as a preceptor for consultants or admin staff. Supports management and executive leadership with change management. Provides teaching for other learners including the supporting student placement and support. May be required to provide project leadership or project coordination within the provincial program.

Description:

The Chartered Surgical Facilities (CSF’s) Education Consultant provides education, training, and mentorship to CSF external and AHS internal CSF operations team. The position supports advancement of the CSF program and data management through development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and business contractual changes. The position functions as a leader, mentor and change agent. Duties may involve travel within the province. The consultant provides education using various media platforms regarding CSF application use for patient care, data documentation, audit, and invoicing for external and internal users. External users include surgeons, office teams and CSF teams. The position supports testing and implementation of IT generated changes to the CSF application. The educator supports the CSF operations lead and zone director with application use, trends for education programs and new user education for AHS and CSF teams.
