SALS Private Home Care Looking for Home Support Worker- Friday 24 hr once a month at Victoria, BC Full Time

We have a once a month 24 hr regular respite shift available Friday ,8am to 8am (Must be able to work holiday weekends)

Qualifications : (CSW) Diploma or Mental Health Worker or equivalent life experience, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) or equivalent experience ,(CPR) , Valid First Aid Certificate, valid class 5 drivers licence.

Experience: Minimum 1 – 2 years

Work Setting: Clients home and community

Clients: Female, aggressive behaviors, hearing impaired, intellectual, mental health, and learning disabilities

Additional Skills: Security and Safety: Current criminal record check , Valid class 5 or better BC driver’s license and a current driving record check (abstract)

Other Information: Due to bona fide operational requirements, the position is only open to non- smoking female applicants who are physically able to handle aggressive behaviours.
