Scanline is looking for a Manager of Finance for our virtual production division, Eyeline Studios. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, they will work directly with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Virtual Production teams and cross functionally with the Accounting, Production Finance and Business Strategy teams. The Manager of Finance, Eyeline is a hands-on role that is responsible for driving the financial planning, modeling, reporting and analytics of the Virtual Production business segment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops business cases, financial models, budgets and forecasts to support the Executive Management team and Business Strategy team with the execution of strategy, projects, and initiatives
- Analyzes company financial results and provide insights and recommendations for cost control and performance improvement
- Prepares various monthly and ad hoc financial reports
- Transforms the existing reporting suite to meet the specific needs of the Virtual Production business segment including developing new reports and automating/streamlining existing reports for improved accuracy and efficiency
- Prepares and presents financial packages
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Professional designation (CPA or CFA) is considered an asset
- Seven (7) years of experience in a hands-on Finance role
- Background in VFX or technology is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles under US GAAP
- Superior analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities, and work towards tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
