Reporting to the Branch Manager, the position requires a customer-service oriented individual with a strong understanding of the heavy-duty truck and trailer industry. Knowledge of automotive, heavy equipment or other related industries will be considered.

Details:

• Provide excellent customer service and parts knowledge while meeting the needs of all telephone, email, and walk-in customers.
• Identify customer needs and opportunities to upsell products to better serve the customer.
• Prepare and process documentation for purchases, returns, and warranties.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized parts area.
• Communicate and work with counter, warehouse, and technician staff in a team environment.
• Perform occasional warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in parts counter sales in the heavy-duty truck and trailer industry preferred.
• Previous counter experience in an automotive parts department role or equivalent is an asset.
• Demonstrated industry knowledge of parts department procedures, materials, and software.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with inventory control software.
• Standing and some moderate to heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds).
