What You’ll Do:

As a member of our analytics team, you will be working on the internal software toolsets that process the huge quantity of data generated by our rock-scanning robots and apply advanced AI algorithms to turn it into useful information. You will be building web- and console-based tools to create a fast, easy-to-use, and scalable system for high-throughput processing across many remote devices in the field. You will also be debugging any issues that may occur from running python scripts to process data as well as bugs with the workflow tools built in Node.js.

You will also be collaborating with our broader team of geologist equipment operators, geoscience project managers, client-facing software developers, and hardware engineers to drive constant improvement across our suite GeologicAI products and services.

You have a degree in computer science or software engineering or similar and love to code. You have the following skills that we are looking for:

• Strong Node.js & Vue.js skills
• Good understanding of Python & JavaScript (Mandatory)
• Experience with web application development
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Passion for writing effective and scalable code
• Excellent debugging and testing skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of Git version control
• Knowledge of C# Asp.net
• Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases

Bonus points for:

• Knowledge of MPI, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or other distributed computing systems
• Skill at full-stack technologies; familiarity with Node.js using Express, Vue.js, and MSSQL
• Knowledge of D3.js
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of or interest in geology
