Job Summary
We are a multi-site manufacturing supplier to the window and door industry seeking a dynamic individual for Human Resources Management and to support the senior leadership team on various administrative matters. We are looking for someone who likes a challenging, fast-paced environment, where they will communicate regularly with employees at various sites in North America and work with the leadership team at the corporate head office in Vaughan. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done. They are adaptable and enjoy a challenge, and they maintain utmost professionalism and strict confidentiality and discretion when interfacing with the team.
Summary of essential job functions:
· Lead all matters relating to hiring including recruitment, selection, and orientation of high quality personnel
· Develop and manage new hire onboarding and training programs
· Assist managers with performance reviews
· Create learning initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
· Manage training activities throughout organization
· Audit and ensure compliance related to labour, employment, and human rights legislation
· Ensure employee engagement through various existing and new initiatives
· Develop and manage performance management and compensation plans
· Develop employee database
· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, termination, and investigations
· Organize team communications and events, both internally and offsite
· Support the senior leadership team on administrative tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent required
· 3 yrs+ human resources management experience required
· CHRP designation or equivalent preferred
· Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations
· Experience in educating and coaching staff
· Microsoft Office Suite experience required
· Proficient in the English language required, Bilingual preferred (French)
· Attention to detail
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
