Aera Medical Specialists Clinic is seeking 1 full-time Medical Office Assistant (2-5 years of experience) to join our new clinic which provides care for patients with allergic and respiratory diseases. We are looking for a reliable, friendly and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our team.
Aera Medical Specialists Clinic is a specialty clinic, and as such we exclusively accept patients by referral only. This means our patient volume is significantly lower than that of a GP or walk-in clinic (10-20 patients per physician per day). Currently, we are a small practice with two full-time physicians, however, we are hoping to expand in the future.

Job description
Medical Office Assistant
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Managing patients’ electronic medical records
- Intake of patient referrals
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Sending out medical communique, including referrals to other physicians, requisitions for investigations
- Ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of the clinic
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $22.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
