Aerotek Looking for Skilled General Laborer at British Columbia Full Time

We are currently hiring General Production Worker for a manufacturing production facility located in Abbotsford, BC. This job opportunity will provide full time hours, long term benefits with stability and longevity for the right candidate. There will also be opportunity for growth and pay increases.

Responsibilities may include:

• Machine operating (Training will be provided)

• Operating staple gun, hammer, and other basic tools day to day

• Some repetitive lifting may be required at time – up to 50lbs

• Packaging/stacking product

• Loading/unloading materials on to machines

• Quality checks

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ months experience working in some form of production/manufacturing shop/general labor/warehouse

• Ability to lift up to 45lbs

• Limited to transit route, candidate will need to have reliable transportation

Work Schedule To Choose:

Morning Shift: 

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:15pm

Afternoon Shift:

Monday – Thursday 3:30pm – 2:00am

Friday’s (overtime) 3:30pm – 2:00am

Compensation Details:

• Morning Shift $20.00 per hour

• Afternoon Shift $21.50 per hour

• $23.00 after probation period (3 months)

• Opportunity for wage advancements and promotions from within

• 4% vacation pay

• Weekly payroll cycle

• Benefits will start immediately once employment commences. No wait period for health and dental benefits. Benefits begin the 1st of each month Employer provides 50% premium coverage on all benefit packages.
